About this service
This policy explains how the mobile games published by is_oo under the is Puzzle Series handle your information. It applies to every game in the series, including is Pipe (app.isoo.pipe) and titles released later. All games in the series share the same code and the same data practices, so one policy covers them all.
Information and storage
| Data | How it is handled | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress (puzzle history, stars, best records, elapsed time, tap counts) | Stored only on your device. Never sent to us | History, replay, star ratings |
| In-game coin balance and how it was earned | Stored only on your device | Hints, replays and other game features |
| App settings (haptics, etc.) | Stored only on your device | Remembering your preferences |
| Google Play Games account details (player ID, display name, profile image) | Only if you choose to sign in to Play Games. Google holds this data; we read only what is needed to draw leaderboards and achievements | Leaderboard rankings and achievements (tiers) |
| Daily challenge score (your time and tap count encoded as a single integer) | Sent to and stored by the Google Play Games leaderboard | Worldwide rankings |
| Advertising identifier and device information | Collected by the third-party services below under their own policies | Showing ads |
| Usage statistics and crash diagnostics | Collected by the third-party services below under their own policies | Understanding usage, improving stability |
Apart from the Play Games display name described in the table above — which we only receive if you choose to sign in, and which other players can see next to your leaderboard score — we do not collect your name, phone number, address, email, payment details, contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.
Purposes and service providers
The games use the following services for advertising, analytics and rankings. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
- Google AdMob — advertising. Advertising identifier, device and usage data. How Google uses information
- Tapjoy (Unity) Offerwall — optional offerwall for earning in-game coins. Advertising identifier, device information, a random in-app user ID (not linked to your name or account) and offer participation. Unity (Tapjoy) Privacy Policy
- Google Firebase Analytics — usage statistics (game started, completed, difficulty, elapsed time and similar). Firebase privacy
- Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash and diagnostic reports. Firebase privacy
- Google Play Games Services — sign-in, leaderboards, achievements. Google Privacy Policy
Ads and your choices
The games contain no in-app purchases. Everything is free, and in-game coins are earned only through activity inside the game, such as watching an ad. We therefore never handle payment details.
A game may ask permission to send notifications, for example a daily challenge reminder. This is optional and declining it leaves every feature available to you. Notifications are generated on your device and we collect no additional information for them. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your device settings.
Retention and deletion
- Data on your device is removed when you uninstall the game. You can also clear it under Settings > Apps > (game) > Storage.
- Play Games data belongs to your Google account. You can delete a game's data from your Google account settings under Play Games.
- Advertising and analytics data follows each provider's own retention policy. You can reset or opt out of ad personalisation under Settings > Privacy > Ads on your device.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your information. Because we do not hold personal information on any server of ours, data on your device can be deleted directly using the steps in Retention and deletion; for anything else, contact us below. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Age and children
These games are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and other regions where that applies). If we learn that such information has been collected, we delete it promptly.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be announced in the app or in the store listing.
